The junior wing of VVDAV Public School, Vikaspuri celebrated Diwali with devotion, enthusiasm and excitement. Tastefully decorated hansraj hall in the school campus added charm and religious fervour to the atmosphere. The programme was inaugurated by incharge ma'am followed by various cultural performances by students of class 2 and 3. The programme started with a speech by Kanika of class 3 E telling the students about Diwali - festival of lights and why we celebrate it. It was followed by a poem recited by Navyaa Arora of class 2 D. The students were also enchanted by classical and western dance performances. Welcoming the festival of lights, students unfolded their creative abilities in a string of activities like decoration of their classrooms, card making, diya decoration, earthen lamps decoration etc. The students also shared sweets with their peers and gave warm wishes to everyone.
