Cooking And Eating Habits Week

The students of class 3 recently started the chapter about Cooking And Eating Habits with a very interesting activity which continued for a week. The students brought food according to specific day which was told to them before hand. For instance, days like baking day, fried food day and direct heating day were organised in all the classes in which students brought eatables like cake, pastries, cookies, bread rolls, french fries, chapatis etc. The students relished all the delicacies with fervour and understood the benefits of cooked food. They also understood that eating food that we cook at our home can be a better decision in the long run as compared to eating out at restaurants and fast food joints. The students differentiated between direct heated cooking and indirect heated cooking during the ongoing chapter. Students and teachers conducted discussions about healthy eating habits which can be followed in daily practice. All the classes participated in the activity in an exuberant manner.
