"The Earth day" is an annual event, celebrated on 22nd April for environmental protection.
The Junior Wing of Veda Vyasa D.A.V Public School celebrated it recently.
The students of class II prepared wrist bands to show their support in protecting the
environment. The students of class III prepared beautiful head gears with messages on
saving the planet written on them. The event was marked by an inspiring speech
by Principal ma'am on ways to save our Earth followed by planting of saplings
by the students and teachers in garden. The students were also encouraged to bring
lunch packed in cloth napkins to reduce the use of foils, papers, polybags etc.
Bulletin boards were decorated beautifully to make the students environment
friendly citizens.
